As much as I’m not the best at dance, this was really easy to follow along. It was really interactive. Learning all the moves was really engaging, especially incorporating everything into one. I think you should continue making these because it was really engaging and it could reach a lot of people.

I really liked how the instructor took things slow and that really helped me learn. My favorite part was doing the movements with music because we got to put all we learned together.

I have been using Crelata videos in my dance classroom, especially to meet the needs of students with special educational needs. FAQs

What is included in my Crelata subscription?

A yearly subscription gives you access to all of the Crelata on-demand dance education content (videos and downloadable resources). You can also choose to purchase videos in bundles or individually for a set amount of time.
I need a purchase order. How do I get one?
How often do you release new content?
What languages are the videos in?
Our videos are in American English and we provide English and Spanish captions. You can turn the captions on or off in the video player.
Our videos are also available in American Sign Language. You will have access to the ASL interpreted videos in our video content library.
Do I need to be a dance teacher to use Crelata?
NO! Don’t panic! You don’t need to be a dance teacher or have any dance background to use Crelata. We make it SO EASY to bring dance to your students. Just login, click on the lesson of your choice, and project it on your TV screen, smart board, or projector. That’s it! We’ve taken care of all the educational components of each dance lesson so you can monitor, encourage, participate, or relax during the video lesson.
Crelata can also supplement an existing dance curriculum that is taught by a dance educator.
Our optional supplemental activities are also simple to implement. We provide everything to make it painless to bring educational dance to your students.
What ages/grades is the content for?
How can I fund Crelata?
Crelata can be funded in a number of ways.
Ask your administration to purchase it on behalf of the school. Every other art form and subject area has resources, why not dance?! You are going to help us change the world! If your administration is skeptical, ask them to come into the room when your students are doing a Crelata test lesson so they can see for themselves!
Ask your PTA to raise funds to help with the purchase.
You can fund Crelata with money from the ESSA, Title IV, Part A, Student Support and Academic Enrichment (SSAE) Program. This federal program provides supplemental funding to help provide students with a well-rounded education, improve school conditions, and improve the use of technology. Download the PDF we put together to learn more about how you can access this funding.
Blood, sweat, and tears! (What we really mean is a fundraiser.)
How can I pay for a subscription?
If you want to purchase online, you can pay with a credit/debit card.
If you need to pay via a purchase order, let us know at hello@crelata.com so we can generate an invoice. The invoice will provide you with the needed information to remit payment. When the invoice is paid in full, we will onboard you and the designated number of users.
If we need to become a vendor in your school or district, contact us at hello@crelata.com with the directions on how to set it up.
Why are subscriptions so expensive?
Our goal is to make access to arts education more accessible through technology. We are trying to keep the cost to you as low as possible.
Please understand that we are paying real artists and experts to bring the highest quality experience to your students. We are not simply filming someone teaching dance classes for kids. We have carefully scripted and curated the content using the best practices in dance education and are providing an educational framework for learning dance.
A Crelata subscription is a fraction of the cost of bringing in a guest artist or hiring a full time dance teacher. Of course, we would LOVE for you to hire live guest teachers and pay the full salary of certified dance teachers, but we know this is not the reality. Plus, even certified dance educators and teaching artists aren’t experts in everything!
Are you a Title 1 school? Discounts are available! Please contact us at hello@crelata.com to get your discount.
Do I need to download any software to use Crelata?
No! You can stream our content via the internet from a computer, tablet, or mobile device. We recommend projecting the video lessons onto a larger screen like a smart board or TV to make it easier for your students to see.
Our resources are available to download as PDF files.
What if I forgot my password or don’t know my username?

If you previously set up an account and forgot your password, go to crelata.com and click “log in.” Then click “forgot password.” Enter your email address and submit. You will get an email with password reset instructions.
